/// credits

Your plan covers the teardowns. Credits cover the extras.

The teardowns themselves are already in your plan — Free 3 a month · Pro unlimited under fair use · Power 250. Credits only meter the extras when you want them: cut blueprints (2 credits — the frame-by-frame build direction for any cut, saved on the teardown forever), isolation passes, 4K masters on Pro, extra-long documents. Running a heavy month? Top up from your account in two clicks — top-up credits stay valid for 12 months, so one heavy month carries across quieter ones.

/// questions

Asked before buying.

What counts as one analysis?
One video, end to end. Paste a link or upload a file, and a single analysis produces the complete study: scene-by-scene blueprint, transcript, voice profile, pacing, The Cuts, the sound breakdown, and the recreation recipe. Free runs 3 a month at core-breakdown depth, Pro runs unlimited complete analyses under fair use, and Power meters volume at 250 analyses and 2,000 minutes a month because its queue is built to run whole stacks at once.
What do I get on the free plan?
The core breakdown — scene blueprint, transcript, and script skeleton — on 3 videos a month, up to 5 minutes each. Your workspace holds results for 24 hours and exports carry a watermark. The deep passes — sound breakdown, cast & world, technique clusters — and the Sound Kit are where Pro starts. Browsing the public library of 100+ teardowns is free forever, and no card is required.
What is a credit?
Credits cover the extras beyond a normal teardown — an isolation pass on a cast or world entity, a 4K master unlock on Pro, an extra-long document. Pro includes 40 a month, Power includes 250, refreshed each billing cycle. Normal analysis never touches them.
Do top-up credits expire?
Plan credits refresh monthly. Credits you buy as a top-up are valid for 12 months from the purchase date — long enough to carry a heavy month across quieter ones. Top-ups are available on every paid plan, from your account.
What's the difference between Pro and Power?
Nothing in the analysis itself is held back on Pro — it's the complete teardown system for one video at a time. Power adds the volume machinery for people who do this every week: batch drops, an analysis queue, five concurrent lanes, 60-minute videos, automatic 4K masters, API keys, and a 250-credit pool. The ladder ends at Team, which pools everything in Power into one shared workspace and library for the whole group.
How is the Team plan priced?
On outcome, not on a menu. Team is everything in Power plus a pooled workspace with a shared library and 20 lanes, sized to the volume your team actually reviews — so every brief starts from the same playbook instead of scattered individual accounts. Tell us how your team works and we'll shape the plan around it: [email protected].
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Both paid plans bill monthly. Cancel from your account's billing page in a couple of clicks — self-serve, no email required, no retention maze.
What formats and lengths are supported?
Paste a link from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or X — the engine pulls the raw file itself — or upload a video file directly. Free analyzes videos up to 5 minutes, Pro goes to 30, and Power to 60 for webinars, keynotes, and long-form breakdowns.
How is this different from a swipe-file tool?
A swipe file saves ads so you can find them again. videngineer takes one apart so you can see why it works. When a video earns a place in your swipe file, run it through a teardown: the scene blueprint, the script and voice profile, the pacing, the cuts, the sound design — the mechanism, not just the memory. Keep your swipe file; this is the study layer underneath it.
