What videngineer does, what you get, and what it costs. Anything else — [email protected], a human reads it.

The product
What does videngineer actually do?
Paste a video URL. A few minutes later you get the full teardown: every signature shot clipped from the source (titled, downloadable, ZIP-able), the sound pulled apart — the score on its own, sliced where the music changes, every effect as its own clip, and the spoken script taken from the clean voice — plus the blueprint: shot mix, pacing, structure and a shoot script you can hand to an editor, an agency, or your own AI workflow.
What can I paste?
YouTube, X/Twitter, TikTok and Instagram links, or upload a file directly. Free accounts analyse videos up to 5 minutes; Pro goes to 30 minutes.
What's in the Sound Kit?
One isolation pass splits the audio into its layers. You get the isolated score — whole, and sliced into segments exactly where the music changes (with mood, genre and BPM per segment) — every sound effect as its own clean clip, named, and the real spoken script, taken from the isolated voice so sung hooks never get mistaken for narration.
What is the ★ Library?
Your swipe board. Star any cut, music segment, effect, character or look inside any teardown and it lands in one place — filterable, playable, downloadable. Shared team boards are coming soon.
Can I share a teardown?
Yes — every teardown has a shareable link that works for anyone. Pro also exports a PDF (for humans) and JSON (for your pipeline or AI tools).
How accurate is it?
The cuts are detected from the actual footage — real shot boundaries, real clips, not guesses. Analysis layers (labels, moods, structure) are AI-assisted and improve constantly: every teardown is stamped with the engine version it ran on, and when the engine improves you'll see a one-click Re-analyze offer on older teardowns.
Pricing
What's actually free?
Browsing — the whole public teardown gallery is free, no account. A free account also gets a taste of analysing your own videos (up to 5-minute videos, fair-use monthly allowance).
Is Pro's "unlimited" really unlimited?
Unlimited teardowns on the standard engine under fair use — no per-video credit anxiety. The heavy extras run on credits: most actions cost 1 credit (like the sound isolation pass), big generated documents 2. Pro includes 40 credits a month.
What is Power?
The weekly-volume tier, $49/mo — batch teardowns and an analysis queue, five concurrent lanes, videos up to 60 minutes, automatic 4K masters, API keys, and a 250-credit pool. Live today — see the Power plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing is monthly through Stripe; cancel and you keep access until the end of the period. No forms, no calls.
Your content
What happens to videos I analyse?
We process the video to build your teardown (frames, audio, clips) and store the results so your teardown keeps working. Your analyses are private to your account unless you share the link. Retention follows your plan.
Is tearing down someone else's video okay?
Teardowns are analysis and reference — the same thing every creative team does manually with a notepad and a scrub bar, done properly. Clips stay tied to their source and every teardown links back to the original. Full policy: fair use.
Do you have a team plan?
Coming soon: shared workspace, team library boards and pooled credits with per-seat billing. Running a team today? Email Mark — early team accounts get set up by hand.
Fastest answer: paste a video.
The first teardown explains the product better than any FAQ.
